Gosoku-ryu

"Because of the spectacular successs of Gosoku-ryu, the original style of karate created by So-Shihan Kubota, and its acceptance and expansion to dojo worldwide, the Ministry of Education in Japan has bestowed the coveted title of Soke (founder of a style) on him. This makes him the only living holder of such a title in the world."
